•발표초록

– 송종현 교수(충남대학교) : In recent, stong attention has been paid to low dimensional materials such as transition -metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs), topological insulator and graphene. In this presentation, we report on the 2-dimensional properties of the perovskite oxide hetero-interfaces. The 2-dimensional electron gas (2-DEG) generated at the LaAlO3/SrTiO3 (LAO/STO) heterointerface thus exhibits various intriguing phenomena such as ferromagnetism, superconductivity, and also their strong correlation. -이기주 교수(충남대학교) : Two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides (2D-TMDs) are attracting great attention as promising materials for their interesting electrical, optical, and mechanical properties. Particularly, the field effect transistors based on 2D-TMDs (2D-FETs) is widely adopted for the investigation of electrical doping-dependent properties, photocurrent spectroscopy, and thin-film sensors. -이윤상  교수(숭실대학교): In strongly correlated electronic systems, e.g., transition metal oxides (TMOs), functional ionic defects, mainly, oxygen vacancies, have been found to play a crucial role in determining the electronic properties of TMOs and improving their functionalities by introducing charge carriers, lattice distortion, and ionic dynamics. As another functional ionic defects, we consider the doping of rare earth (RE) ions with 4f orbitals. (이하 첨부파일 참조)
